Respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has described the forward's situation at PSG as 'tense' and has revealed the youngster's intent to part ways with the reigning French champions.

According to Romano, Mbappe is desperate to leave PSG as soon as possible in a remarkable U-turn. Despite the 23-year-old's alleged stance, PSG are said not to have any intention of offloading him in the interim.

Meanwhile, Mbappe's situation has put a number of top European clubs on red alert, with some keeping tabs on the state of affairs at Parc des Princes.
It is believed that Chelsea are among the clubs keen on landing the World Cup-winning star.
According to GiveMeSports, citing journalist Pete O'Rourke, the Blues will ‘definitely be in the conversation’ for Paris Saint-Germain forward.
