Manchester City battled hard to defeat impressive West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, February 27.
The Citizens continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League after they narrowly beat West Ham United by 2-1 at the Etihad.
Two of City's center-back Ruben Dias and John Stones scored in each half of the game as Mikhail Antonio got the Hammers' only goal.
With the victory, Pep Guardiola has now picked up his 500th victory in charge of a top-flight side in all competitions.
The Spaniard guided Spanish club Barcelona to 179 wins during his time in charge at the Camp Nou outfit.
German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich also won 121 matches under the tutelage of the tactician who has now guided Manchester City to 200 wins.
After the game against the Hammers, he told BT Sport via BBC:
"It was really difficult. They have the physicality, they have the quality of players.
"After 10 or 15 minutes today we realised we were not going to paint anything beautiful. When you play a lot of games - in the league and then the Champions League - this is normal.
"We were lucky to get all three points. The mathematics matter at the end of the season."
Manchester City are next in action on Tuesday when they entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
West Ham's exit from the FA Cup means they are spared a rearranged midweek game and now have a nine-day break before the host Leeds United on 8 March.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Thiago Silva will not be available for Thomas Tuchel when Chelsea host Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend.
The Brazilian legend joined the Blues on a free transfer last summer and has scored twice in 17 Premier League appearances so far this campaign.
He picked up a muscle injury during their 1-0 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month and has continued to recover away from the rest of the team.
The German-born tactician during his pre-match conference ahead of the crucial clash against the Red Devils told the club website that the former PSG star worked out on the pitch on Friday, February 26.
