It’s a sentiment shared by Guti and Víctor Sanchez, Marca reported. Guti said he would rather see Los Blancos sign another lethal frontman.
"I prefer Haaland rather than Mbappé. He (Mbappé) should focus on playing football and forget about the rest."
Víctor Sanchez added that Madrid didn't need Mbappé.
"He's an impressive player, I don't doubt that. But I think his arrival would disrupt a lot of things that are very well placed right now,” he said.
Carlo Ancelotti responds to rumours linking Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid as Frenchman wants to quit PSG
Kylian Mbappé is hugging the headlines again for the wrong reasons, as it has emerged the Frenchman is itching to quit Paris Saint-Germain as soon as next summer.
Mbappé signed a mega 3-year deal with the French champions this summer, snubbing an initial verbal agreement with Real Madrid for a potential deal.
Carlo Ancelotti has now reacted to Mbappé’s recent links to Real Madrid, declining to confirm or deny if the Spanish champions would be interested in signing the 2018 World Cup winner, Sports Brief earlier reported.
