One of the promises, according to journalist Matteo Moretto, was that Mbappe would be handed a free role at PSG rather than playing as an outright number 9.

Amid all the drama, it has now emerged that Mbappe actually preferred Zinedine Zidane as the next PSG boss after Mauricio Pochettino was sacked. In addition, his relationship with Neymar continues to be a strained one.
While Mbappe is getting stick for his alleged poor attitude, a video of Cristiano shows the Portuguese forward had a much different attitude when he was around Mbappe’s age.
The video, shared by Madrid Xtra on Twitter, shows a young Cristiano being asked where he preferred to play.
In response, Ronaldo says he can play either on the left, right or down the middle and goes on to add: “I just want to play.”
Fans with long memories will remember Ronaldo started out at Manchester United as a winger and when he signed for Real Madrid in 2009, he still played on the flanks, supporting the likes of Raul Gonzalez and Ricardo Kaka.
