Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has played down any fears that he could be a doubt for this weekend's El Clasico after suffering an injury to his face on Tuesday.
The German international, who scored the equaliser for Los Blancos on the night against Shakhtar Donetsk, was left with blood streaming from his head after clashing with goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin.
The 29-year-old collided with Trubin, with the Ukrainian goalie slamming into the former Chelsea centre-back with his arms.
He was unable to celebrate and instead lay in agony on the turf after being completely wiped out.

Per Spanish free-to-air television channel La Sexta, cited by Sport Bible, the defender had 20 stitches applied to his head after the game.
Taking to his Instagram stories in the aftermath of the 1-1 draw in Warsaw, the ex-Chelsea stalwart wrote: "We alive"
Rudiger also took to Twitter to send Real Madrid fans a message:
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I am okay - thanks for all your messages," he wrote.
As expected, all of his teammates offered their support and encouragement.
Rudiger needed 20 stitches for his sickening head injury, after bravely scoring the 95th-minute equaliser last night.
According to reports from Spain, the German international will undergo tests in the next 24 hours to determine if he has suffered a fractured skull.
