The 21-year-old striker recently returned to action for the Italian club recently but has not been able to command adequate playing time.
He initially picked up a shoulder injury while in action for the national team last November then his situation got complicated after being quarantined for the deadly COVID-19.

Just when he thought he had put his setbacks behind him, he suffered yet another head injury after colliding with Cristian Romero and was rushed to the hospital last month.
However, Rohr is confident to see the former youth international back in action for his Serie A outfit having failed to make the matchday since February 21 due to the head injury. He told Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Victor Osimhen's season has so far been unlucky, between injuries and Covid. Already in October, he could not play with our national team two games, in Austria, because he was in quarantine after some of his teammates at Napoli had contracted Covid.
“I spoke with the boy and he told me that he is physically and mentally fine. He is ready to return to the field with Napoli and also with the national team.
“Victor can play as a central striker in both 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1. They are two game systems that we use in the national team. He has been a permanent player in the Nigerian national team for five years.
The German-born tactician also revealed that the youngster will soon return to action for both club and country.
“You will soon see his real value. In the national team he is our point of reference for the attack, he has collected an important legacy in that role, that of [Odion] Ighalo.
“In the next qualifying matches for the African Cup, we hope to find him with great energy."
Osimhen has only made 16 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Africa's most expensive player Victor Osimhen has undergone a medical assessment following the head injury he suffered during Napoli's 4-2 defeat to Atalanta over the weekend.
The Nigeria international landed awkwardly on the pitch after colliding with Cristian Romero towards the end of the game.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital for evaluation after the terrible fall during the Serie A encounter.
