Lewandowski and Benzema will finally get to face off against each other when Real Madrid and Barcelona contest the first El Clasico of the season.

With all eyes on the game, Real Madrid legend Raúl has weighed in on Benzema and Lewandowski, Barca Universal reported. Raúl is the current manager of Real Madrid Castilla, Los Blancos’ reserve side and is a legendary attacker in his own right.

“Lewandowski, Benzema and Haaland are the best strikers in the world. They have the most goal scoring ability and contribute the most to their teams,” he said.

He added that Lewandowski was a great signing for La Liga and was already showing his quality, but hoped that Benzema would win the goal scoring battle between the two.

Lewandowski is in fine form in La Liga this season, having scored nine goals in eight appearances in La Liga. Benzema has scored three goals in five games, but has been out of action due to an injury suffered at the beginning of September.
