Barcelona are set to miss several key players for the El Clasico against Real Madrid this weekend with Jules Kounde the latest star likely to be ruled out.
Kounde was ruled out for 3-4 weeks after getting injured during the international break but has failed to recover in time for the top-of-the-table clash against Real Madrid.
According to Football Espana, the French defender’s absence leaves Barcelona with just Eric Garcia and Gerard Pique as natural options in the centre of defence for the Catalan giants.

Barcelona are already missing top players including Memphis Depay, Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Hector Bellerin, and Ronald Araujo for the crunch tie against Real Madrid.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Spanish giants FC Barcelona has completed the registration of new signing Jules Kounde.
The Catalan giants were able to register six of their seven unregistered players in time before their 2022/23 La Liga opener against Rayo Vallecano.
Kounde was the only unlucky star to miss out but the 23-year-old is available for selection for the clash against Real Valladolid on Sunday.
