Legendary Ghanaian winger, Laryea Kingston, has revisited the disappointment of missing two World Cups with the Black Stars.
The 41-year-old missed the 2006 and 2010 World Cup despite playing a huge role in the qualifiers for both tournaments.
Kingston missed Germany 2006 after he was suspended for three games following an altercation with Senegal's Habib Beye at the Nations Cup the same year.
"Not going to the World Cup, 2006, 2010 for me is still a tough moment me when I think about it or when I start talking about it," Laryea Kingston told Radio Gold as quoted by GHANASoccernet.

"Because in 2006, I played every game, every qualifier, every friendly game, every game throughout the 2006 qualification, I was part of it but I couldn’t make it.
"In 2010, it was the same, I played every single game so last game to go to the World Cup, I was asked to go home."
Kingston, the younger brother of former Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson, ended up making 41 appearances for the Black Stars and scoring six goals.
He played at the 2006 and 2008 Africa Cup of Nations. He played a key role as Ghana finished third at CAN 2008 on home soil.
He enjoyed a stellar career abroad, playing for the likes Hearts of Midlothian, Locomotiv Moscow and Vitesse Arnhem.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported that former Ghana footballer, Laryea Kingston says he had to leave Libya after six months of signing a three-year contract with Al Ittihad because life was tough in the North African country.
The former Black Stars winger revealed hew left because the club failed to pay him despite playing regularly for six months.
In an interview with Joy FM, the Right to Dream Academy youth developmental coach explained the ordeal he went through in Libya.
