Ex-Real Madrid midfielder Kaká has revealed how former Brazil teammate Neymar tried to make an exit from PSG, after arriving from FC Barcelona in 2020.
Neymar brought his four-year stint with Barcelona to an end when he joined Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record fee in 2017, becoming the most expensive signing in the history of football.
However, he tried to engineer a move back to the Catalan giants three years after his move to Les Parisiens, following a fractured relationship with the top brass of the club.
Despite the attempts made by the 30-year-old Brazilian and his representatives, the move failed, renewing his stay with PSG.

“We’re close friends. I spoke a lot with Neymar and of course, he had a bad time at PSG the year he wanted to return to Barcelona,” said Kaká as per reports from Diario AS.
However, it appears Neymar has rediscovered his form and is currently enjoying a splendid start to the current campaign, scoring 11 goals and contributing with nine assists in 14 games across all competitions.
“Today he’s happy. He thinks about the long-term project at PSG. Year after year the team gets stronger, they’re building more cohesion to win something really important like the Champions League, and he’s happy in Paris and at PSG.”

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Brazilian forward Neymar was visibly upset with the officiating in Paris Saint-German’s 1-1 draw with Benfica in the UEFA Champions League last Wednesday.
Leo Messi had given PSG a 1-0 lead with a superb curling effort, but a Danilo own goal ensured both teams shared the points to remain unbeaten in Group H.
According to Daily Mirror, the PSG No.10 appeared to have been aggrieved with centre referee Miguel Ortiz Arias after the game, as the Brazilian appeared to whisper something under his breath to the official.
