The Merseysiders have won just two of the eight matches in a poor run that has them occupying 10th place on the log.
Liverpool's point tally also mean that they are training league leaders, Arsenal, by a massive 14 points.

Having drawn 3-3 against Brighton before their trip to Arsenal, Klopp's charges were hoping to bounce back against the high-flying Gunners side.
However, they were unable to see off the hosts, with the north Londoners stunning them 3-2 in a thrilling clash played at the Emirates.

Reacting to the latest setback, Klopp admitted that his side does not stand any chance of challenging for the Premier League title this season.
The German tactician further described Liverpool's dire situation as 'difficult' but vowed to fight on.
"Our situation is now obviously a really difficult one. But it’s already difficult enough with injuries now on top of that but if in a game like this these decisions go against you, it’s kind of typical but it doesn’t help," Klopp said as quoted by Daily Mail.

FootballKlopp later clarified his comments in his post-match news conference saying:
"We are not in the title race. It's naive to sit here and think that we are nearly there."
