- A group of Everton fans were spotted watching Liverpool lose to Arsenal at a random house
- The fans decided it was a good idea to see how their arch rivals were doing prior to their clash against Manchester United
- Liverpool lost 3-2 to Arsenal while Everton were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United later on
A group of cheeky Everton fans came up with the ultimate banter for their bitter city rivals, as they decided to watch Liverpool’s game against Arsenal from a random house on the street.
The fans were making their way to Goodison Park to watch their own team take on Manchester United, but took a brief detour to watch how Liverpool were doing.
At the time, the game was deadlocked at 2-2, as goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka were cancelled out by the away end’s strikes from Darwin Nunez and Roberto Firmino.
As reported on Daily Star, fans were crammed outside a house but it is unlikely they witnessed Saka’s penalty that ultimately sunk Liverpool, as they were watching the game from a minuscule TV through the window of a house.

One interesting bit is that the owner of the house did not seem to mind the ‘uninvited guests', and actually allowed them to do their thing before proceeding to their own match.
The video of the incident will surely leave a bad taste in Liverpool fans’ mouths as they were hoping to get their campaign back on track against the league leaders Arsenal.
That was not to be however, as another defeat left Liverpool in 10th place with 10 points, 14 behind Arsenal.

FootballIn the other game, Everton fans also got a taste of defeat on their own turf as the Toffees succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to a resurgent Manchester United.
Frank Lampard’s side took the lead five minutes into the game as Casemiro lost the ball deep in his side’s half, for Alex Iwobi to place a wonderful curler past David de Gea.
United were back level 10 minutes later however, with summer signing Anthony Santos benefiting from a Bruno Fernandes through pass to score his third Premier League goal in three games.
Cristiano Ronaldo then finally got his 700th club career goal, hitting a brilliant low shot after running onto Casemiro’s through ball.
Why Liverpool were not awarded a penalty vs Arsenal
Sports Brief also earlier analyzed why Liverpool were not awarded a penalty for what looked like a blatant handball by Gabriel.
The Reds thought they had a perfect chance to restore parity 15 minutes later after Gabriel handled the ball inside the area from Diogo Jota's cross.
However, referee Michael Oliver opted not to award a penalty, with VAR also failing to overturn the decision after a review.
