Kevin-Prince Boateng will play a huge role before, during and after Euro 2024 following his appointment as the ambassador for Berlin.

Germany will host Euro 2024 and the Ghana international has been handed the role of being the ambassador for the city of Berlin.

Following the draw for the qualifying rounds of Euro 2024, the 34-year-old was announced the representative of the German capital.

Alongside Boateng were other national stars and former players, including Ghanaian-born Germany international Gerald Asamoah, who have all given roles ahead of the championship.

The former AC Milan star was born in Berlin to a Ghanaian father and a German, and grew up playing for the city's Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin.

After a nomadic experience playing in Europe, the Ghanaian footballer returned home to rejoin Hertha Berlin. He has a year left on his current deal with the club after extending his contract in the summer.

Leipzig: Jörg Junhold (Managing Director and Director of Zoo Leipzig/Official Ambassador)

Munich: Felix Brych (FIFA Referee/Official Ambassador)

Stuttgart: Cacau (born in Brazil, 23-time German international, third place in the 2010 World Cup, from 2016 to 2021

Kevin-Prince Boateng shares 2,023 kebabs to Hertha Berlin fans

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Kevin-Prince Boateng has decided to celebrate his contract extension at Hertha Berlin in a remarkable way.

The 35-year-old signed a deal which will keep him at the Berlin Olympic Stadium until 2023 following his inspiring role last season.

And to celebrate the moment, Boateng has partnered a Hakiki kiosk to distribute 2,023 Kebabs in the German capital to Hertha Berlin fans.
