  • Brendan Rodgers is on borrowed time with the Leicester City fans after yet another defeat in the Premier League
  • The Foxes succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Bournemouth on Saturday, October 8, leaving the club in the relegation zone
  • Despite initially taking the lead, Leicester conceded two goals in four minutes as the game was turned on its head

Sections of Leicester City fans made their feelings known on Saturday, October 8 as they turned on their manager Brendan Rodgers following the defeat to Bournemouth.

The Cherries did well to come from behind to turn the game around with two quick fire goals in the second half.

Leicester had initially taken the lead through Patson Daka but Bournemouth, under the guidance of Interim boss Gary O'Neil, showed some bravery to maintain the temporary manager’s unbeaten run at the Vitality Stadium.

When he came on, veteran striker Jamie Vardy tried to reinforce some positivity and urgency within his side but could not inspire a comeback.

After the game, fans had long forgotten the 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest a couple of days ag - a win that afforded Brendan Rodgers some time.

As reported on TalkSport, Leicester fans could be heard chanting “We want Rodgers out” as defeat left the 2016 Premier League champions 19th on the log.

The result means Leicester could drop to the bottom of the table once again if Nottingham Forest avoids defeat against Aston Villa on Monday.
