Lionel Messi has disclosed that he is strict with his three sons, as the Paris Saint-Germain forward opened up on his parenting style.
Messi, who looks soft and unassuming in appearance, admitted he is stricter with his three children than his enchanting wife Antonela Roccuzzo.
"Between me and Antonela, I’m the one who tells the boys off most," explained Messi when discussing his family life in an interview with an Argentine journalist.

Football"She’s normal and the person who spends the most time with them because of my travel commitments and games, which means I’m away a lot," Messi said as quoted by Tribuna.

The former Barcelona talisman, who has begun the season on a blistering note stressed:
"They pay more attention to me because when I scold them I sometimes go over the top."
According to the Daily Star, Messi insists the essence of his tough love for his three sons is to make them understand they cannot take their 'cosy' life for granted.
“I try to make them learn the value of things so they understand they have to earn things every day, and don’t assume that because they’re lucky enough to have the possibility of having many things, think it’s easy.”
