- Antony was United's most expensive signing this summer and arrived with lofty expectations from fans
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has again ripped into new signing Antony, calling him a "one trick pony" after United's dramatic 3-2 win in the Europa League.
Antony has made a decent debut for United, but Scholes feels the winger needs to do much more other than ask the ball to his feet.
Scholes has been critical of the Red Devils all season and has singled out Man United wingers, especially Jadon Sancho and the Brazilian. The former midfielder went ahead to question the signings of the two players.
Sancho is yet to light up Old Trafford since his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund last summer.

Scholes patience with Antony
Speaking after the match, Scholes wasn't impressed by the style of the right winger, according to Goal.
"Antony on the other side as well, he doesn't run in behind. He seems to be a bit of a one-trick pony. He's always cutting inside and either passing back to the full-back or having a shot. You're thinking he needs to develop a little bit. It's still early days for him, we know that."
Antony joined United early last month and has already scored in his first two Premier League appearances. Reports indicated that the 22-year-old singer ignored instructions given to him by Erik Ten Hag during the derby, according to the Mirror.

He criticised the club, saying they are disorganised in the transfer department and will need to make serious changes to it.
