New Manchester United signing Casemiro has reportedly told his friends that he is already regretting leaving Real Madrid.
Casemiro was signed by Manchester United towards the tail-end of the transfer period as head coach Erik ten Hag sought to replace the departed duo of Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.
The Brazilian was expected to slot in directly into ten Hag's starting XI, given his impeccable pedigree but has struggled for game time.
He is yet to start a Premier League game, with Scott McTominnay always preferred ahead of him. Casemiro has only started two Europa League games as ten Hag continues to integrate him into the squad.

Of all the signings made by Manchester United this summer, he is the only one yet to get it going at the Theatre of Dreams. Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Antony and Christian Eriksen are already regular starters.
Caught Offside now reports that Casemiro has confided in his close friends that leaving Santiago Bernabeu was not a wise decision. He was a key member of Carlo Ancelloti's side and left, having won the Champions League five times.
His failure to break into ten Hag's team might also be as a result of him being an afterthought. Ten Hag's preference was to sign Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona, but the Dutch midfielder rebuffed any attempts to leave Camp Nou.
Casemiro is, however, almost assured of being on Brazil's plane to Qatar for the World Cup despite his club's struggles.
