Leicester City could permanently put an end to Donny van de Beek’s Manchester United misery, as they are reportedly keen on signing the midfielder.
Van de Beek’s situation at Old Trafford has failed to improve even with the arrival of his former manager Erik ten Hag, who seems to prefer the likes of Fred, Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen at the heart of midfield.
Since arriving at United in 2020, the Dutchman has featured a mere 30 times for United and has received just 19 minutes of playtime under ten Hag so far this season.

Tielemans almost left the King Power Stadium in the summer with a number of clubs interested in his services, but ultimately chose to stay at the club.
However, Leicester’s struggles this season might put them in a difficult position to keep such a talented player, and the club is reportedly already planning for life without Tielemans’ services.
Tielemans has not renewed a deal at Leicester and could leave at the end of the season in January.
Reports in Jeunes Footeux further claim Leicester’s plan is to acquire van de Beek initially on loan, with the hopes of signing him for £13m.

FootballThe 2016 Premier League champions have struggled in the league so far this season and only picked their first win of the campaign on Monday night, after seeing off Nottingham Forest 4-0.
Their struggles this campaign could be attributed to the fact that they had little to no activity in the way of signings during the summer transfer window.
Elsewhere, Sports Brief reported on Xabi Alonso’s new role as the new Bayer Leverkusen manager, replacing Gerardo Seoane.
According to transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano, Alonso has been appointed as the new Bayer Leverkusen head coach, inking a two-year deal which runs until June 2024.
Following Leverkusen's poor run of form, the top brass of the Bundesliga outfit contacted ex-Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel. However, the German trainer turned down the offer, rejecting a chance to make a swift return to the touchline.
