The Spanish side find themselves in 17th place on the La Liga table, with five points from seven games. They have won just one game this season.

However, the club are yet to dismiss the coach until they find a suitable replacement, Football Espana reported.
The decision put Lopetegui in a difficult situation as he knows he no longer has a job at the club, no matter what the team can achieve in their upcoming games.
However, Transfer News Live has since reported that Loptegui will be sacked on Thursday, a day after Sevilla’s Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund. His replacement has reportedly been found.
To add further irony to the situation, Lopetegui is said to be already wanted by English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers, despite not being out of a job as yet. Wolves recently parted ways with Bruno Lage and are eyeing Lopetegui as his successor.
Lopetegui enjoyed great success at Sevilla, leading the club to the Europa League title and helping them qualify for the Champions League for three seasons in a row.
