A Nigerian footballer identified as Kingsley collapsed and died while playing at the Green Field Football Ground in the Lekki area of Lagos, leaving families, friends and fans into mourning.
The 31-year-old, who was not playing for any professional football team in Nigeria, died at about 6.30pm on Friday, 30 September.
According to the video spotted on social media, Kingsley appeared totally exhausted and fell to the ground, with his playing teammates not immediately noticing his fall.
When they eventually noticed something was wrong, they started pouring water on the head and face of Kingsley before rushing him to the hospital.

Which hospital was he taken to?
According to the reports on Daily Post and Daily Trust, Kingsley was rushed to Ever Care Hospital in Lekki where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.

The reports added that the corpse of Kingsley is currently at a public morgue for autopsy, as investigations by police into his death have begun.
