Erik ten Hag has opened up on his decision not to sub on Cristiano Ronaldo during the Manchester derby.
Ronaldo, who seems to have lost his place in United's starting XI, was benched during his side's trip to Man City on Sunday, October 2.
Ten Hag instead opted for the trio of Antony, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford to lead the goal hunt against the reigning English champions.

The Frenchman managed to justify his introduction as he netted a brace, including a penalty at the death to ensure the tie ended 6-3.
Speaking on his decision not to sub on Ronaldo, ten Hag said it was out of respect for the Portuguese talisman.
