Former Barcelona star Ronaldinho has admitted to having some regrets at not staying at Paris Saint Germain longer.
The Brazil international played in Paris from 2001 to 2003, when the likes of Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and Monaco were dominating the French top tier.
While speaking to Carré, Ronaldinho reflected on his time in Paris where he claimed he would have opted to stay longer at the club had the structures been right.

“My worst memory at PSG? It’s not to have stayed longer! It’s really the worst thing that happened to me. If it had been in another formation, with different coaches or other things, I would have liked to stay. But that’s all up to God now, and I ended up going to a wonderful club, where I was very happy.”
His short-lived stint at PSG saw him make 77 appearances, scoring 25 goals and getting 17 assists during that time.
He however failed to win any silverware at the club.
After leaving PSG in 2003, Ronaldinho made a famous switch to Barcelona, where his career peaked.
At Barca, he quickly established himself as one of the best and most entertaining footballers in the world, going on to win the Ballon d;Or in 2005.

FootballMessi joined the current Ligue 1 champions last summer after he ended his almost two-decade spell with La Liga giants Barcelona.
Despite not hitting his peak in his first season in France, Messi was fiercely defended by Ronaldinho, who said change is not always easy.
"After many years at a club, changing is not easy. It's normal for him to have difficulties. I think he's started very well!" He said.
Despite Messi’s exit from the Camp Nou, the prospect of him making a return to the club has been lingering, with the current boss, Xavi, conceding the door will always be left open for the forward to reunite with the Spanish giants.
