Gallas joins a long list of ex-footballers who have tipped the Gunners to win the league this season after a blistering start, losing just once in seven games, according to talkSPORT.
Antonio Conte's side pipped the Gunners to a Champions League spot last season but have also made a strong start to the season, sitting just one point behind their arch-rivals.
Gallas backs Arsenal to win it all
Gallas joined Arsenal in 2006 from Chelsea in a controversial swap deal involving Ashley Cole. He gave a reason he thinks Arsenal are better equipped for a title run.
"I think Arsenal have a better opportunity to compete for the title than Tottenham because this season they aren’t playing in the Champions League. I think they have to be focussed on the title."
Gallas also made his prediction for the North London Derby.
"I will go for a 50/50. But Arsenal are playing at home, and normally when you play at home you have to win, especially in a big derby like this."
