Sixteen minutes after the restart of hostilities, Kevin De Bruyne increased City’s lead with the third goal of the match, to take the game beyond Watford’s reach.

And there was still enough time on the clock for Gabriel Jesus to net Man City’s fourth goal in the 68th minute.

Sterling comfortably completed his hat-trick with striked in the 81st and 87th minute, to see the Etihad dwellers claim the FA Cup after a resounding 6-0 win at the blast of the final whistle.
