Hasaacas Ladies have progressed to the semi finals of the CAF Women’s Championship qualifier after beating AS Police from Niger 3-0.
Goals from Pokuaa Milot who scored twice and Doris Boaduwaa were enough to seal the victory for the Ghanaians as they bounced back from their defeat in the first game.
Hasaacas Ladies lost their first game 2-0 to Nigeria's Rivers Angels and needed to beat AS Police to stand a chance to qualify to the next stage.
The Ladies from Sekondi will now face Burkina Faso's USFA on Monday, August 2, 2021 for a chance to make it to the final.
The winner of the tournament will advance to the tournament proper in Egypt later this year.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Maxwell Konadu claims a lack of unity was the reason why Kumasi Asante Kotoko did not win the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League.
Asante Kotoko were leading the league with seven points but eventually lost the title to fierce rivals, Hearts of Oak by four points.
Konadu, who started the season with Kotoko but was relieved of his duty in December, claims the cause of the club’s downfall was disunity amongst the players, and other management officials.
Christian Atsu: Ghana will not have a striker like Asamoah Gyan
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Christian Atsu has said Ghanaians should stop comparing current Black Stars strikers to Asamoah Gyan.
Asamoah Gyan who captained the Black Stars, is the leading scorer for the senior men's national team with 51 goals.
This has led to Atsu coming to the defence of the current strikers, claiming focus should be given to the young players who are coming up now instead of comparing them to their predecessors.
