According to the Mirror, Jurgen Klopp failed to show love to the 30-year-old according to Salif Diao, Mane's compatriot and former Liverpool footballer.
Diao said that Klopp should've shown more affection towards Mane since he was at Anfield for many years and was adored by the fans.
I think he has been here for a couple of years and I think at some point he thought he did not have the love that he needed really, here at Anfield. I’m not talking about the fans, for him I think it was more with the manager.
Liverpool struggles to replace Mane
Since his exit to Bayern Munich, Liverpool have struggled to fill the void the Senegalese left on the left-hand side. Although Luis Diaz is seen as a natural replacement, he's yet to fill Mane's shoes fully.
He’s been one of the best top three players, if not the best, over the past four years in the world. He’s proven on all levels. Of course, it would be hard for any player to come in and fill his space. It’s going to take time.

New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly elicited mixed reactions on social media a couple of weeks ago after suggesting that the Premier League could borrow a leaf from American sport by staging a North vs South All-Star match.
