Brazil's two-goal hero Richarlison believes Ghana has a good team to make a mark at the World Cup in Qatar in November.

The Tottenham forward netted a first half brace as the five times World Cup winners brushed aside the African side in a rampant display.

Despite the dominant first half display, the Selacaos failed to score in the second half and Richarlison credits that to Ghana's strength as a team.

"Good game, I think Ghana has a big team and today Brazil did well but Ghana has a good team," he said in a post-match interview.

Marquinhos broke the game's deadlock after just eight minutes when he rose high to meet a Raphinha corner kick.

Richarlison doubled the lead just before the half hour mark after connecting to an excellent pass from Neymar, before adding his third five minutes to half time with a strong header.

Brazil stroll to victory against Ghana in friendly before World Cup

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Richarlison netted a first half brace as Brazil cruised to victory against Ghana in their penultimate friendly ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Paris Saint Germain defender Marquinhos opened the scoring after eight minutes to add to Richarlison double as the South Americans defeated Ghana in Le Havre.

The Selacaos got off to a bright start with Richarlison getting the first chance after just four minutes, but the Tottenham forward missed by inches wide.

Ghanaians praise Mohammed Salisu after Black Stars debut

Mohammed Salisu has been on the lips of Ghanaians after an impressive debut for the Black Stars against Brazil.

The Southampton defender came on in the second half as Ghana prevented Brazil from adding to their three goals scored in the first half.

Salisu was solid preventing Neymar from netting Brazil's fourth late in the game.
