Juve want Antonio Conte as new manager

According to the Daily Mail, Juve chiefs are considering Antonio Conte as the most ideal candidate to take over should they sack Allegri.

Conte is no stranger in Turin, having previously managed Juventus before he left in 2014 after he differed with club chief Andrea Agnelli.

But with the Italian's deal with Tottenham set to expire in 2023, reports suggest Juventus could be tempted to bring him back to steady the ship at the Allianz Stadium.

The development comes at a time Conte has enjoyed a bright start to life with Spurs, having already led the north Londoners to five wins after seven Premier League outings.
