FootballGhanaian Striker Kwame Peprah Reportedly Wants Orlando Pirates Exit After Frustrations
- Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah is rumoured to be looking for an 'out' at the Buccaneers
- The Ghanaian has not been having a good time at the Buccaneers since sailing the ship with them last season
- Having fallen down the pecking order under Jose Riveiro, Peprah has reportedly asked the club to look for game time elsewhere
Kwame Peprah's largely unhappy stay at Orlando Pirates might be coming to an end.
The Ghanaian forward has struggled for goals since landing at the club in the 2021/22 season, and has not featured much under new coach Jose Riveiro with Zakhele Lepasa and Bienvenu Eva Nga the preferred players.
A source reportedly told The Citizen:
“It is the World Cup year and he had hoped that he might get a chance to be considered for the Ghana national team if he continued his performances from last season. That is why he was initially uncomfortable with making a move now. He wanted to be at a place where he is comfortable and performing.

Peprah might be motivated by compatriot and Bucs teammate Richard Ofori, who looks to be a certain pick for the Black Stars squad that will head for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He was recently selected for Ghana's warm-up friendly against Brazil
