According to Get French Football News, Mbappe will not take part in the event due to reports that the French Football Federation did not want to change the existing collective agreement regarding players' image rights.
The forward is reportedly refusing to take part in the photo shoot due to some brands like betting and fast food and therefore, he wanted a renegotiation on the deal. France have deals with the likes of UberEATS, KFC and Coca-Cola. With France, each player receives the same amount in image rights.
In June, Mbappe and FFF President Noel Le Great had a truce in June about the issue but it seems the matter is still problematic for Mbappe. Le Great said in June that nothing will change at least after the World Cup.
The conclusion remains no change until the World Cup, perfect equality between all players. Frankly, there is no major problem to deal with. On the contrary. It was done in a very friendly manner with him, first, then the old soldiers of the federation, the players.
