Senegal's national football team have been dealt a blow as forward Keita Balde may miss the upcoming World Cup in Qatar after being suspended for three months.
The forward was banned following an anti-doping test violation that occurred In April and will now sit out for three months meaning he won't be available for Senegal's World Cup campaign.

Keita Balde suspended
Spartak Moscow striker Keita Balde will have to sit out for three months after he was found to have broken the anti-doping test protocols in April according to Goal.
The violation occurred on April 3rd this year after his former team's 5-1 defeat at the hands of Udinese in Serie A. Although no performance enhancement substances were found in his body, the striker is nevertheless liable for punishment.
With that news, the former Lazio and Inter Milan player will have to endure 90 days without football action as he serves his ban which will end on December 5th.
Moreover, it remains to be seen if Lions of Teranga boss Aliou Cisse will call Balde to his team which is one of five teams that will represent the African continent in Qatar.
The Senegal international has made just one appearance for the Russian side, He was unveiled with a hilarious Tweet which made fun of Barcelona's financial struggles last month.
