Sports Brief earlier reported on Serie A receiving a lucrative offer to host the Supercoppa Final in Saudi Arabia for the next six years under a new format.
In a deal worth €138 million, Serie A winners, runners-up, and the two Coppa Italia finalists will square off in a four-team one-legged semis and finals, with the winner will play Saudi Super Cup winners.
The money is three times more than what Serie A provides for the competition.
