Spain manager Luis Enrique has explained why he invited Nico Williams for the UEFA Nations League games against Switzerland and Portugal.
Nico Williams received his first Spain call-up on Friday despite interest from the Ghana Football Association.
In a press conference, Luis Enrique stated the qualities of the young forward will be a great asset for Spain.
"Nico is a very interesting player with wonderful speed to be able to overwhelm, he is doing very well," he said.

“In a hypothetical final between Spain and Ghana, Iñaki Williams’ and Nico Williams’ parents would find difficulties in who they’d want to win.”
Nico Williams has been in fine form this season, scoring his a goal for Athletic Bilbao in five La Liga games.
"Nico is verticality, overflow, speed, talent... he is a player who has many records. I am happy that Luis Enrique has called Nico, that reinforces the work that is done in the inferiors," added U-21 coach Luis de la Fuente.
The 20-year-old's senior brother Inaki Williams has decided to play for Ghana after successfully switching nationalities.
