A furious Pep Guardiola was forced to tone down after being yellow carded at full time in Manchester City’s win over Borussia Dortmund.
Referee Daniele Orsato had no option but to exert his authority on the Spaniard, who went after him with complaints after the final whistle.
Guardiola seemed irritated by the fact that Orsato had booked substitute, Phil Foden deep in injury time as City held on to their 2-1 lead.
He made his feelings clear at full time, going in on the referee in the full glare of the cameras.

But Orsato was in no mood to go back and forth with the Manchester City boss and he brandished a yellow card, sending Guardiola into a complete 360 degrees in his demeanor.
After the card was issued, Guardiola, who seemed unruly only seconds earlier, hugged the ref in an open display of remorse and perhaps an apology.
And as expected, fans hopped onto the incident with varying reactions.
“He is just so weird,” said one fan.
“Second-best moment of the season, after the Tuchel-Conte handshake.” Went another.
“He’s trying too hard,” another added.
Haaland the hero, again
