Former Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has had a tough start in Major League Soccer (MLS) with the Los Angeles FC. The Wales international was substituted after an hour.
During the LAFC game with Minnesota United, Bale was having a game to forget as his team was chasing a goal. As soon as he left the pitch, former Arsenal player Carlos Vela scored the equaliser. His team struggles to bounce back into form after a string of poor results has coincided with Bale's drop in form.

Bale's poor form
Bale, who joined LAFC in July, started his MLS career strongly by scoring in his second match in a 2-0 win against Kansas City. The former Tottenham Hotspur star then scored in their next match which they beat Salt Lake City 4-1.
However, the Welshman has cooled off significantly, failing to score or register an assist in LAFC's last six games. Moreover, his team has lost four times during this period, winning just one game.
When asked about not starting Bale last month, LAFC coach Steve Cherundolo said every game is different.

Bale exits Real Madrid after nine years
