- Despite a poor start to the 2022/23 season as the permanent head coach, Arthur Zwane is still safe at Kaizer Chiefs
- The Amakhosi find themselves in an unusual 14th place on the DStv Premiership table
- A source inside the club said that management believes that Zwane will turn the team's fortunes soon enough
Kaizer Chiefs has had a bad start to the season under new permanent coach Arthur Zwane.
However, despite finding themselves in an embarrassing 14th place on the DStv Premiership table, he still enjoys the backing of the club's management.
A source at Naturena told The Citizen:
“Everyone can see that Zwane is trying his best with what he has at Chiefs and things might not look good at the moment, but there is a lot of belief from the management that he will get things right. They see him as someone who is going to bring back a smile to the supporters’ faces, because he has done really well with the reserve team, plus he understands the culture of the club so well.
