The American billionaire has once again cast doubt on his suitability to lead Chelsea to the next level after claiming that Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne came from Chelsea's academy as Daily Mail reports.
We have one of the best academies in the world. If you look at what our academy has developed, our academy is Mo Salah, Kevin De Bruyne. More recently, Tammy Abraham, Reece James, Mason Mount, Trevoh Chalobah
Fans were quick to jump on the statement given that Salah and De Bruyne are not products of Chelsea's Cobham academy. Salah came through the ranks of Egyptian club Al Mokawloon before moving to Basel where Chelsea snapped him up. De Bruyne meanwhile is a product of Belgian club Genk.
Both players failed to impress at Chelsea and joined other clubs before returning to the Premier League where they became fully-accomplished stars.

The German gaffer was sacked barely 15 months after leading the side to Champions League victory. Boehly adopted the ruthless nature of former owner Roman Abramovich by firing Tuchel at the first sight of a dip in form.
