Kylian Mbappe is once again on the wrong side of the news headlines after footage showed him criticizing his teammate Achraf Hakimi.

Mbappe sent the better part of August marred in a lot of controversies as he sought to settle into new head coach Christophe Galtier's plans.

In his first start of the season against Montpellier, the French star walked out of a PSG counterattack after one of his teammates failed to pass him the ball.

He was then embroiled in a penalty argument with Neymar in a game where he had missed another penalty before. The saga dragged on with Neymar liking a few tweets that condemned Mbappe as PSG's penalty taker.

The issue was resolved quickly, with the club settling on Mbappe as the first-choice penalty taker.

But now, another footage has shown Mbappe slamming Hakimi as PSG walks out of the tunnel for the second half. The video, spotted by Sports Brief, is from last season. In the excerpts of the conversation as quoted by the Mirror, Mbappe sounds mad that Hakimi couldn't find him with a pass.

The Moroccan then apologizes to his teammate, who retorts,

It's not enough to be sorry. Give a good ball!

The issue, however, didn't seem to escalate further as the two remain very close. It is actually understood that it was only Hakimi who knew that Mbappe was going to reject a move to Real Madrid. The pair were then spotted in Morocco during their summer holidays.
