Dear Graham,

Hope this finds you well. How's the new environment? Let me start by sending my commiserations for the passing on of your long-serving Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. As someone who was born and bred in Solihull, you definitely enjoyed the Queen's reign and we share in your grief.

Not to celebrate in misfortunes, but Her Majesty's demise is a blessing in disguise for you. The Premier League's decision to postpone this weekend's London Derby should give you an extra day or two, three even, to familiarise yourself with your new team before Salzburg come calling.

Thing is, Graham, we are still bitter. Bitter that a coach a majority of us loved and cherished was booted out when we least expected it. But there is general consensus that we won't project that on you. It's not your fault. Just like the previous managers, expect our full support and commitment going forward.

That will, however, come at a cost. Forgive us, but many of us have extreme doubts about your ability to coach at a high level. But hey, there is a first time for everything. We have seen what you have done with Brighton for the last couple of seasons. You made life a little bit uncomfortable for us whenever we met.

Exciting feature: Check out news exactly for YOU ➡️ find "Recommended for you" block and enjoy!

It is also not lost on us how you guided Östersunds FK from the fourth tier to Europa League football. You have been able to craft and build entertaining teams, which is something we are looking forward to.

The major hindrance you'll get this side of London is heavily talented forwards who somehow forget how to score once they put on the Chelsea shirt. Seeing what you have done with Alexis Mac Allister and co gives us immense hope.

All we want coach, is a team that scores freely. Not a side that scores once then sits back and depend on a 38-year-old centre-back to pull off goalline clearances. We want to see the Hakim Ziyech of Ajax and the post-lockdown Christian Pulisic deliver consistently.

On the kind of formations you want to use, you are the learned one here. Use whatever you see fit. Just know Reece James can play wherever you want him to.

This is a highly demanding club. We will want something to celebrate every year. And if, by bad luck, you fail to deliver a trophy, make sure you finish above our London rivals. Also, in respect to our former coach, we never lose to Tottenham Hotspur. Come what may. No matter how hard they pull our defender's hair.

Then as time goes by, maybe pop back in at Amex and convince Moisés Caicedo to follow you. We really love N'Golo Kante, he is our Lionel Messi and Kevin De Bruyne, but his constant injuries are worrying. Add Leandro Trossard to the Caicedo deal. The last Belgian winger we had left here as an immortalized legend.

See you soon and all the best, coach.

Yours Truly,

Chelsea fan.
