They will be hoping to replicate their domestic form when they face the Swiss champions, with Arteta keen to go all the way in the tournament.

Team news and how Arsenal could line up

The trio of Reiss Nelson, Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny are all set to miss the trip to Switzerland as they are currently injured.

Emile Smith Rowe is also a major doubt for the clash after he appeared to injure himself in the warm-down at Old Trafford last Sunday.

Be that as it may, Arteta is expected to make significant changes to the team, with Matt Turner, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Rob Holding, Eddie Nketiah, and Fabio Vieira expected to get some minutes under their belts.

Possible starting XI:

Goalkeeper: Matt Turner

Defenders: Tomiyasu, Rob Holding, Gabriel, Kieran Tierney

Midfielders: Granit Xhaka, Sambi Lokonga, Vieira

Forwards: Saka, Martinelli; Nketiah
