Thomas Tuchel is set to smile all the way to the bank despite his ruthless sacking at Chelsea on Wednesday, September 7.
The Germain tactician was shown the door just hours after he had led the Blues to a 1-0 defeat against Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League Group E opener.
The Blues have had a shaky start to the new season, having failed to keep a clean sheet in six of their last outings.
And even more worryingly, the west London outfit have suffered three consecutive away defeats since the start of the campaign.

This left the Chelsea hierarchy with no choice but to show Tuchel the door despite the German having an active contract.
Thomas Tuchel's sacking to cost Chelsea £15m
According to the Daily Mail, the sacking of Tuchel is set to cost Chelsea an eyewatering £15 million.
The publication reports the former PSG boss was among the best-paid managers in the Premier League, with his yearly wages in the region of £13m.
That is the much the Blues will reportedly be paying Tuchel for sacking him, with an additional £2m going to his backroom staff.
Tuchel was appointed Blues boss in January 2021, succeeding Frank Lampard, who had been sacked then.

Chelsea receive green light to speak with Tuchel's successor
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Premier League club Brighton have given permission to Chelsea to speak to Graham Potter as the Blues seek a successor for the sacked Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea showed Thomas Tuchel the exit door on the back of a shock 1-0 loss against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League and are working around the clock to find his successor.
The London-based outfit were mooted to be interested in ex-Spurs gaffer Mauricio Pochettino, multiple Champions League winning coach Zinedine Zidane and Brighton boss Graham Potter.
