Former Super Eagles Star Mutiu Adepoju Names One Striker Who Reminds Him of Rashidi Yekini

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how former Nigerian international Mutiu Adepoju has stated that Real Sociedad's new signing, Umar Sadiq, reminds him of ex-Super Eagles forward Rashidi Yekini.

According to Adepoju, the lanky Umar, who has been impressive in recent times, has all it takes to catch up with Yekini.

The former midfielder stated in a chat with Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo that the former Almeria striker has the ability to adapt quickly.

Umar scored on his debut for Sociedad over the weekend, and Mutiu, who also played at the same club, hopes to see more goals.

Sadiq scored 43 goals in over 80 appearances for Almeria before switching to Real Sociedad.
