FootballEden Hazard Rounds Off Mesmerizing 33 Pass Move for Real Madrid Against Celtic
- Eden Hazard was on target for the first time this season on Tuesday evening when he scored the third goal in Real Madrid's 3-0 win at Celtic
- While his finish was a simple tap-in, the goal came as a result of patient build-up from the reigning European champions
- The Los Blancos pieced together a fluid 33-pass move lasting 98 seconds which resulted in the Belgian superstar netting to put Real 3-0 up at Celtic Park
Real Madrid started their UEFA Champions League season with a real statement of intent by thrashing Scottish giants 3-0 on Tuesday night.
And if the scoreline wasn't ominous enough, Carlo Ancelotti's side have now started conjuring up goals involving 33-pass moves involving the entire team.
Revealed by Opta, it turns out to be the goal with the most passes for Real Madrid in the Champions League since the 2003-04 season.
Eden Hazard's finish for the Los Blancos third goal - after 74 minutes at Celtic Park - may have been a tap-in but it was the culmination of a patient string of passes.

The 33-pass move began when Toni Kross played a short pass from a direct freekick to his partner-in-crime Luka Modric from close range.
That started a sequence of keep-ball, with Celtic players unable to get a touch as the ball was worked through ten players of the reigning European champions.
Eventually, Toni Kroos was able to Dani carvajal on the right and his square pass was just enough in front of the bamboozled Celtic defence for Hazard to ghost in for a simple tap in.
The goal - which was the Belgian playmaker's first Champions League strike in 651 days and his first open play in five years - put the 14-time European Champions firmly in control of Group G.
