The head coach of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum, hopes his side will do better when they face their United States counterparts in a second friendly.

Having lost 4-0 to the United States over the weekend, Nigeria target revenge when they file out against the Americans in Washington.

The USA scored three goals in the first half and then grabbed one in the second h to condemn the Nigerians to a huge loss at the Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas.

And ahead of the second friendly game against the two teams, Waldrum stated that there were many positives to learn as his side hoped to improve in the second game.

He said:

“We know there is going to be a challenge and another difficult game on Tuesday but the experience we gained is invaluable.

“To be one of the top teams in the world, we have to play against this type of teams and get exposed so we learn from it and be better.

“It takes time to be good if your look at what Morocco and South Africa are doing. Their teams are together on a regular basis.”

Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that the goalkeeper of the Zambian women’s national team, Hazel Nali, remembers her roots as she bought new football boots for her former teammates at Nchanga Queens FC in Zambia.
