Ousmane Dembélé is loving playing alongside Robert Lewandowski at FC Barcelona.

The French attacker recently opened up on their relationship and Lewandowski’s reaction when they first met.

As reported by Barca Blaugranes, Dembélé noted the hilarious first words the Polish striker said to him.

“The first time we met, he told me ‘you are going to give me a lot of assists,’ Dembélé explained.

Dembélé added that he already knew Lewandowski from Bayern Munich. Dembélé himself played in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.

Barcelona hopes Dembélé and Lewandowski will continue the club’s unbeaten start to the season. The Blaugrana have played four games so far, winning three and drawing one.

They will next turn their attention to the UEFA Champions League, where they will face Viktoria Plzen in the opening game of Group C, UEFA confirmed.

Group C also features Bayern Munich and Inter Milan and is considered to be the group of death in the tournament.
