  • PSG boss Christophe Galtier has warned none among Lionel Messi, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe is guaranteed a place in his starting XI
  • According to Galtier, the interests of the team will always come first in deciding who makes the starting squad
  • Galtier's fiery warning comes just days after he benched Neymar during PSG's 3-0 huge win over Nantes on Saturday

Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier has cautioned the trio of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar over playing time.

The trio has been in fine shape since the start of the season, firing from all cylinders to send PSG to the top of the French Ligue 1 standings.

Neymar and Mbappe have scored an eyewatering 14 goals between them since the start of the new campaign, with Messi bagging three and six assists.

While the three players have shown great chemistry on the pitch, they have also had their fair share of discordance - including a reported feud between Neymar and Mbappe over penalty duties.

Galtier firers warning to Messi, Mbappe and Neymar

Galtier, who was appointed PSG boss earlier in the summer, has now warned his superstar trio is never guaranteed a starting place in his first XI.

This is the complete opposite of his predecessor, Mauricio Pochettino, who rarely made any rotations.

However, Galtier has clarified that he will not hesitate to drop any of them, insisting that the team's interests will always come first.

"You say it's new, but it's an obligation for everyone because of the very busy schedule," ESPN quoted Galtier saying.
"We play a lot, every three days, then every four days, then there is the World Cup. Everyone has to understand that they won't be able to play all the games," he added.

Bizarre moment as Lionel Messi looks inside Marco Veratti's shorts

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Lionel Messi has caused a stir on social media after he was spotted peeping inside Marco Veratti's shorts ahead of Paris Saint-Germain's clash with Toulouse on Wednesday night.

Messi and Veratti made the starting lineup for the French Ligue 1 encounter, with the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner lining up behind the midfielder in the tunnel before kick-off.

Verratti seemed to have a problem with his shorts and requested Messi help him.
