Match week six saw some of the most in-form teams drop points, with Manchester United and Chelsea some of the biggest gainers from the latest round of fixtures.

United condemned Arsenal to their first defeat of the season after mauling the north Londoners 3-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday, September 4.

Despite the defeat, Mikel Arteta's charges are still top of the standings with 15 points, a point ahead of second-placed Man City, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa in their own outing.

Tottenham Hotspur's 2-1 hard-fought win over Fulham on Saturday has them occupying third place with 14 points, while Brighton complete the top four podium, thanks to their 5-2 huge win over Leicester City.

United, meanwhile, are fifth on the log with 12 points, two points ahead of Chelsea, who beat West Ham 2-1 during the London Derby staged at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Liverpool are also in the top-half with nine points despite their goalless draw with Everton during the Merseyside derby.

Leicester City's struggles continue

Meanwhile, Leicester City are bottom of the table with just a point as their struggles continued on Saturday against Brighton.

Newly-promoted side Nottingham Forest and West Ham are also in the relegation zone with four points each.
