Nigerian goalkeeper Matthew Yakubu, who was once invited to the national team, has walked down the aisle with his Slovakian lover.
The former SKF Sered of Slovakia goalkeeper got married to his girlfriend in a small ceremony in the European country.
Soccernet reports that Yakubu earned a national team call-up in 2020 ahead of friendly games against Ivory Coast and Tunisia but never got to feature.
He is also a former U-20 goalkeeper and is one of the few Nigerian goalkeepers in Europe.

As of the time of filing this report, little is known about his beautiful wife, but Pulse Sports claim the pair have been together for a while. The Nigerian international met her after moving to Slovakia in 2019.
Yakubu moved to Slovakia in 2019, joining SKF Sered from Clique Sports.
He is without a club right now after leaving Sered this summer.
