Super Eagles Striker Umar Sadiq Breaks Silence After Joining Real Sociedad

Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq has expressed happiness after completing a summer transfer move to Real Sociedad from another Spanish La Liga giants Almeria on deadline day.

The lanky forward was superb last season for Almeria in the Serie B helping them to secured promotion ticket to the topflight therefore becoming a target for many clubs.

Villarreal were reported to be the first interested in the signing of Umar Sadiq, but they later pulled out giving Real Sociedad the chance to sign the Nigerian star.

Those in charge of Villarreal feels that Umar Sadiq will help them to excel this season in the Spanish La Liga and other competitions.

According to the report on Complete Sports, Umar Sadiq explained that he is already looking forward to make a big impact in the Real Sociedad team.
