Manchester United continued their resurgence under Erik Ten Hag as they claimed another 1-0 win for their third victory of the season against bottom-placed Leicester.
In what as a highly engaging contest, the only goal of the game came in the first half courtesy of Jadon Sancho, who rounded Danny Ward to slot home.
Leicester showed little signs of mounting a genuine threat, but United will be grateful to David De Gea, who pulled off some incredible saves including keeping out a stunning James Maddison free kick.

And the visitors showed their intent from the first whistle, dominating early possession and trying to create chances, with the trio of Anthony Elanga, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford tasked with finding the goals up front.
After 23 minutes, United found a deserved opener through Sancho, who benefited from Leicester’s poor defensive positioning to get through on goal and round the goalkeeper after a Marcus Rashford pass.
This was the former Borussia Dortmund man’s second league goal of the season, and it proved to be the all-important one for United, who were barely threatened by Leicester for most of the game.
